Pete and Jane Henderson

Pete, his wife Jane and their two daughters Lee and Amy, joined the Auburn family in 1975. Pete was still in the Air Force at the time, but he retired from twenty years of active duty in 1980 to complete a doctorate in education leadership and management. He spent the next twenty years in college teaching and administration at Auburn, the University of Maine, and Faulkner University. At that point he tried to retire but has been engaged in part time work doing fundraising with the J.F.Smith Group of Auburn since 2003. He has served as an elder since 1997. He currently oversees the Share Group ministry and teaches in various Bible school classes. When they are not visiting their grandkids or off on a fundraising trip, Pete and Jane spend their remaining time boating on Lake Martin.
